Phenoral Maxx is marketed as an appetite suppressant and energy booster. Each tablet contains all the same ingredients in the propriety blend found in the original formula. These ingredients include: Phenylethylamine HCl, Synephrine HCl, Yohimbine HCl, Theobromine Anhydrous, N-Methyl-B-Phenylethylamine HCl, Methylsynephrine HCl. The main difference between the Maxx formula and the original is that the Maxx supplement’s proprietary blend is 150 mg, 100 mg more than the original. That being said, both supplements contain 150 mg of Caffeine Anhydrous.
The official website for Phenoral Maxx does provide brief information about each of the ingredients used in its proprietary blend. For instance, phenylethylamine can help increase alertness and improve mood. Theobromine anhydrous is supposed to help stimulate the heart and enhance blood flow. Caffeine stimulates the body’s central nervous system, helping to boost alertness and may also aid in the improvement of exercise performance. Yohimbine bark can aid in the reduction of abdominal fat, reduce cortisol levels and even control stress because it boosts epinephrine. Methylsynephrine can increase adrenaline and energy, and help with appetite suppression.
While there is not enough scientific evidence to support any of the claims made about any of these ingredients being beneficial for aiding in weight loss, caffeine has been clinically proven to boost alertness. Therefore, while there is no guarantee that you will lose any fat while taking Phenoral Maxx, there is a good chance that it will give you an energy boost.
That being said, as you may have noticed from the ingredients list, this dietary supplement contains multiple stimulant ingredients or ingredients containing stimulants. The fact that it is an even higher dose than the original formula means that the risk of adverse side effects is even higher with this supplement.
Side effects that may be a concern for some people, especially those with sensitivities to stimulants or those who may be ingesting other stimulant products while taking these pills (ex. coffee, tea, cola, energy drinks, etc.) include: jitters, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, heart palpitations, mood swings, headache, digestive upset, etc.
Furthermore, it is also important to mention that this product contains both caffeine and synephrine. The FDA has warned that when combined, these two ingredients may cause serious cardiovascular effects such as high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack, and stroke.
At the time this review was written, a single bottle of Phenoral Maxx cost $49.99. Users are instructed to take 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet after lunch and not to exceed more than 4 tablets per day.
