Phentra50 is an over-the-counter diet pill that is marketed as an alternative to Phentermine, Adipex, and other diet drugs. It comes from Atom Labs. The product is an “accelerator” that supposedly contributes to normal physiological function, metabolism of fatty acids, energy-yielding metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, and cognitive function. It is also supposed to help reduced fatigue and tiredness.
The ingredients within Phentra50 include: Beta-Alanine, Caffeine, Oxyphenylon, L-Phenylalanine, L-Tyrosine, Green Coffee Extract, Vitamin B3, Zinc, Vitamin B2, Vitamine B1.
Studies have shown that some of the key ingredients within the Phentra50 formula could be beneficial to those seeking to lose weight. For instance, beta-alanine can improve levels of fatigue to help you perform for longer. It is believed that in addition to increasing alertness and boosting energy, caffeine can act as a fat burner, boosting metabolism and thermogenesis. Oxyphenylon is better known as raspberry ketone and is said to be a potent fat burner. Studies have found that L-Tyrosine helped people to better cope with fatigue and cold. Green coffee extract is believed to help the body better manage glucose levels, which can help prevent emotional cravings.
Unfortunately, none of the weight loss claims made about any of the above ingredients have ever been scientifically proven.
While there is no guarantee that Phentra50 can aid in fat burning and fat loss, as none of these ingredients are clinically proven to be effective for weight loss, caffeine has actually been clinically proven to reduce fatigue and increase alertness. Therefore, it is likely that Phentra50 will do at least this much.
Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks of taking a supplement with caffeine is that there is a risk of adverse side effects. Those with sensitivities to stimulants, or who ingest products with stimulants while taking these pills, are at a greater risk of experiencing negative effects. Some of these include: insomnia, jitters, rapid heartbeat, anxiety, headache, etc.
Users are instructed to take between 1 and 3 tablets per day with a full glass of water. While users are encouraged to test their individual tolerance when first starting the pills, they are not instructed as to what time of day it would be best to take the pills, or whether or not the pills should be taken before or after food.
At the time this review was written, a box of Phentra50 contained 60 tablets and cost £13.99 ($21.00).
It is the opinion of this review that there are better OTC Adipex alternatives on the market. Consult with your doctor about your options and before you take any supplements for weight loss.
