Adiporexin is an over the counter formula marketed toward individuals who would like some additional help in burning off the excess fat that is stored on their bodies. It targets both men and women and costs $74.99 per bottle – a very high price when compared to other nonprescription supplements of this nature.
An Official Website with Little Information
Though there is an official website for Adiporexin, it does not provide a list of the ingredients contained within the formula. This is not an attractive feature in a supplement, as it does not allow the dieter to decide whether he or she feels that the ingredients are appropriate for his or her use.
Furthermore, it does not let him or her decide whether or not it should be deemed potentially effective. This also increases the risk of accidental allergic reaction, conflicts with other drugs or supplements, or problems with medical conditions that are irritated by certain substances.
The manufacturers of Adiporexin claim that if it is taken daily, then it will help the body to burn additional fat away. It also claims that it will:
- Provide an energy boost
- Increase metabolism
- Burn fat cells
- Metabolize carbohydrates
- Decrease cholesterol levels
- Encourage a more effective use of consumed foods by the body
Although there is no list of ingredients on the official website, when this Adiporexin review was created, according to third party distributors’ websites some of the ingredients in the formula include:
- Green tea
- Brown seaweed
Green tea is an antioxidant ingredient that contains caffeine and that helps the body to lower its cholesterol levels and fight free radicals. It has been shown in certain studies to help with some weight loss when combined with a healthy diet and exercise program. However, it must be included in very high quantities in order to be effective. It is unknown if there is enough in this formula to produce the desired results. It is highly unlikely that this product contains these high quantities.
Brown seaweed is an ingredient used under claims that it helps to promote weight reduction and that it burns fats.
Protease is a form of enzyme that encourages the body to use its food more efficiently so that better nutrition is achieved.
According to the Adiporexin manufacturer, neither these nor any of the other ingredients in the formula are associated with any strong side effects.
That being said, it should be pointed out that the Adiporexin formula contains caffeine, which means that it should not be taken late in the day or sleeplessness can result. This also makes it inappropriate for individuals who have sensitivities to stimulants.
The Upside and Downside of Adiporexin
Among the advantages of Adiporexin are that the ingredients are available on distributor websites and that it is available in a capsule form that is easy to take with water. It is also a non-prescription diet pill.
Additionally, as it does contain caffeine, it may help to boost energy and mental alertness as well as help reduce the risk of developing metabolic syndrome, which some dieters may be able to use to their benefit when it comes to keeping up with their weight loss strategies, especially those related to exercise and fat burning.
The drawbacks of Adiporexin are that it is quite expensive, especially when compared to other products with similar ingredients. There is also no clinical research to show that this formula will result in weight loss.
October 2019 Update: Adiporexin is no longer sold online. The website also does not exist. Although information about the product can still be found, it is probable that this diet pill has been discontinued. This isn’t much of a loss considering there are plenty of other great OTC diet pills available that can provide you with the same potential benefits and that are manufactured by more reputable companies.
