Phena-Lean is an “extreme” diet aid from Anabolic Warfare. It has been developed to be a thermogenic diet pill to provide a metabolism boost, all day energy, sculpting and appetite suppression.

When this Phena-Lean review was written, each bottle contained 60 capsules and could be purchased on the official Anabolic Warfare product page and on Amazon for $56.99.  As the recommended dosage is not to exceed more than 2 capsules per day, one bottle will last for a month.

A “Superior” Blend of Ingredients

At the writing of this review, the Phena-Lean ingredients included Vitamin B3 as well as the following Phena-Lean Blend:

  • Caffeine
  • L-Theanine
  • Citrus Aurantium
  • Di-Caffeine Malate
  • L-Tyrosine
  • N-Isopropylnorsynephrine
  • Ginseng Extract
  • Lean GBB
  • Paradoxine Grains of Paradise
  • Huperzine A
  • Rauwolscine 90%

According to the creator of this OTC diet pill, the superior blend of ingredients along with the fast release technology, helps users to lose weight, fight cravings, boost their energy and increase mental clarity.

More specifically, Anabolic Warfare says that you’ll “sweat, burn calories and drop water weight” with the help of Paradoxine and Lean GBB, which supposedly activates thermogenesis and lowers body fat.

With the help of N-Isoporpylnorsynephrine and Bitter Orange (Citrus Aurantium), they say that weight loss is encouraged by boosting metabolism and lowering appetite. To their credit, some studies have suggested that citrus aurantium may help enhance metabolism and encourage appetite control. That being said, further study is needed. This means more and longer-term analysis is required before it can be determined just how safe or what true beneficial effect bitter orange and its natural occurring simulant, synephrine, may offer in regard to weight management.

As for Caffeine, L-Theanine and Di-Caffeine Malate, the company says that these ingredients can increase mental alertness, blood flow, and metabolism as well as lower feelings of tiredness and upset stomach.

In spite of having clinically studied ingredients, keep in mind that if you do choose to use Phena-Lean, the product’s formula itself has not been scientifically tested and has never been proven effective for weight management.

Possible Phena-Lean Side Effects

Due to this nonprescription weight management aid having multiple stimulants within its blend, there is a higher chance that those who take this dietary supplement may experience unwanted side effects, such as:

  • Jitters
  • Restlessness
  • Anxious feelings
  • Digestive upset
  • Headache
  • Insomnia
  • Increased heart rate
  • High blood pressure

The risk of these side effects is higher for individuals who are sensitive to stimulants, and for those who ingest other foods or drinks containing stimulants while also taking Phena-Lean.

It would be a good idea to take the manufacturer’s advice and first assess your tolerance by taking only 1 capsule a day to see how your body reacts before you decide to take the maximum 2 capsule per day dose. Consulting with your healthcare provider before taking Phena-Lean is also a wise idea.
