PhenRx is a weight loss supplement from Nexgen Biolabs and it is marketed as an alternative to Phentermine. According to the diet pill’s product page on the Nexgen website, it is “the most sophisticated weight loss product available anywhere.” Supposedly, every component of this multifaceted formula was meticulously developed using the most “cutting-edge” ingredients and the highest standards. The manufacturer claims that the PhenRx formula can boost metabolism, dramatically curb hunger, stimulate the thyroid, and burns fat on those problematic areas of the body.
According to the supplement facts sheet, the PhenRX formula contains the following ingredients, which make up its proprietary blend: 1,3,7 – Trimethylxanthine, Beta-Phenylethylamine, Synephrine HCL, N,N-dimethyl-4-hydroxyphenylethylamine, Schizandrol A, 5-Hydroxytryptophan, and Yohimbine HCL.
While the official Nexgen Biolabs site does provide the Supplement Facts as they appear on the product packaging, it does not provide any further details about the ingredients within the PhenRX formula. While it does have a “Science” page for the dietary supplement, and while it contains flashy pictures and provides plenty of content, the information it offers about how the diet pill works does not make specific reference to any of its ingredients, nor does it cite any medical studies related to the ingredients.
Therefore, it feels like they are making a lot of claims about a product that they say can help you lose weight, suppress your appetite, significantly reduces BMI, enhances mental focus, improves fat burning and metabolic function, etc., but does not back up any of these claims with scientific proof. Hence, there is zero guarantee that PhenRx will provide the results that the manufacturer claims.
That being said, it does contain several ingredients that are commonly found in many weight loss supplements on the market, such as 1,3,7 – Trimethylxanthine (caffeine anhydrous), Beta-Phenylethylamine, 5-Hydroxytryptophan, and Yohimbine HCL. These ingredients have undergone clinical study and have been found to show positive weight loss effects on occasion in some people.
However, it is also important to note that PhenRx not only contains multiple stimulants, which increases the risk of side effects, such as difficulty sleeping, occasional rapid heartbeat, jitters, nervousness, anxiety, etc., but it contains synephrine. Also known as bitter orange, among other names, synephrine is a stimulant that can cause severe adverse effects in some individuals, especially when mixed with other stimulants, such as caffeine. Potential dangerous effects include fainting, high blood pressure, stroke, and heart attack. Due to the potential risks associated with this diet pill, it is highly recommended that you consult with your healthcare provider before taking these pills.
