PhenUltra review
Our User Rating

PhenUltra is a dietary supplement that claims its “maximum strength” formula can provide those who take it with appetite control, extreme energy, and quick fat loss. It even claims to be a thermogenic intensifier and helps to improve mood. Based on its name, it is pretty clear that this drug has been purposely marketed as an OTC alternative to the prescription drugs Phentermine and Adipex-P.

PhenUltra is made up of a propriety formula that contains Caffeine, Glucuronolactone, Phenethylamine HCl, Synephrine Carpylate, Nettle Leaf Extract, Yohimbine HCl, Picamilon, and Inositol Niacinate.

Based on the above list of ingredients, this diet pill is not short on stimulants, which may explain why it may have the potential to provide users with extreme energy. That being said, the ingredients it uses are found in many other non-prescription weight loss supplements, and most of them have been studied to determine the role they play in helping a person achieve weight loss.

For instance, Phenethylamine HCl is said to increase alertness and enhance mood. Synephrine can boost metabolic rate and thermogenesis. Glucuronolactone is believed to enhance both mental and physical performance. Caffeine can boost energy and, in some people, may even help suppress appetite.

That being said, when this review was written, there wasn’t an official product page for PhenUltra. Therefore, not much is known about this diet pill or its true effects. Any claims that are made about this supplement are not backed up by any proof. Thus, there is no guarantee that this product is a safe or effective weight loss aid.

Furthermore, in addition to containing multiple stimulants (ex. caffeine, synephrine, yohimbine), which can cause side effects, such as jitters, insomnia, rapid heartbeat, headache, digestive upset, etc., the fact that PhenUltra contains synephrine, makes it potentially dangerous. The reason is that research has found that this substance, which has been used by many weight loss pill manufacturers to replace Ephedra (and is also known as bitter orange), can cause dangerous side effects, such as fainting, high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke, especially when it is combined with caffeine.

Due to the fact that this weight loss supplement contains several stimulants and also contains synephrine, anyone who is interested in taking it is strongly urged to consult with their healthcare provider, first.

At the time this review was written, a bottle of PhenUltra containing 60 capsules could be purchased online for $27.99 plus shipping.
